Kush Nubit was born and raised in Chicago. She is the youngest of 6 children and grow up wanting to dance and music was the fuel that gave her that inspiration. At the age of 15 she started to learn on her own how to play the piano, taking beginner books from the piano seat and practicing for hours on end. Eventually she was enrolled into classical music and then played for a church on the south side of Chicago until the age of 20 when she went off to college. Her musical journey has been thru her dance and today she has developed into a pioneering musician. She dare to do things with music that is outside of the box. Her way of doing this is by putting her own mark on the music she creates. She has developed her own genre of music called Eclectic Music with sub-genres underneath that. These sub-genres include but not limited to God Hop, Eclectic Soul/R&B, Eclectic Soul Bossa Nova and others. She continue to develop more new music, textures and modes. Her love for music goes not just thru the ears but thru the mind, body and soul. She has affected many listeners with her sound and is bring more pioneering work and sound to the music industry over all.
