David Sasso is a multi-genre musician. Trained as a classical composer, he is a mandolinist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter in bluegrass and other folk traditions. His new album, Sasson v'Simcha, is a collection of bluegrass settings of the traditional Hebrew Friday evening Jewish liturgy. He has released two albums with folk/Americana duo Kat Wallace and David Sasso, Stuff of Stars and Old Habits.
