Biography

Native to Bronx, NY, and a well known nomadic staple in the Carolina underground music community, the Jae Prophecy self-produced debut album 'The Higher Calling' & the follow-up 'THC2: The Heat Check' finally came into fruition in 2021 amassing over +3 million streams to date. On a musical journey that dates back to the early 2000s 'Jae Prophecy' aka 'JP' has been progressing everyday to get to this point, learning his lesson about how quickly being an artist can get complicated by not having the proper research and knowledge at your disposal. Along the way, although many roadblocks were present , JP never failed at the opportunity to learn from his mistakes, or the mistakes of his predecessors and apply that acquired knowledge to future endeavors. His mantra "The 3 E's" is to entertain, educate, and enlighten the masses through music. As an independent artist he does have aspirations towards signing a recording contract with a major label but only when the right opportunity presents itself. His sound primarily focuses on rap/hip hop music but displays constant versatility with the adaptability to produce records across all genres (Rock, R&B, Soul, Pop, etc.) with fluidity. To date he has surpassed over +3 million streams attaining international reach. Even with limited resources on the Indie Market, JP still has found a way flourish. He is currently gearing up for the release of his 3rd studio album "THC 3: The Hero's Curse" set to be released in the final quarter of 2022.
