Satellite Mode, an alternative-electronic band from NYC, is led by founding members Jessica Carvo and Alex Marko, both classically trained musicians. Together, they create music that harnesses Jessica’s powerhouse vocals and Alex’s off-kilter soundscapes. Proud of their young and scrappy DIY beginnings, Satellite Mode emerged in 2015 on the Lower East Side with nothing but a bedroom studio and a desperate need to escape reality’s woes. The band's debut release, 'Wild Excuses,' ignited by grief and fueled with love, propelled them to self-produce and self-release numerous singles. Their work landed on top playlists such as Global Viral Spotify, New Music Friday, Good Vibes, Morning Commute, and more. Soon after, Satellite Mode achieved sold-out shows in historic venues and toured with national acts like Shoffy, The Band Perry, LAUV, and Guster.
