Lucy Kong is a composer, producer and singer/songwriter. She is a featured composer for Australian Hybrid Art company Kammerklang, having composed new works for their Vox and Ablaze concerts, as well as releasing her solo albums ‘ElectroBloom’ and ‘Colour Projections’ in 2017 and 2019 respectively. In addition to her extensive catalogue of original work Lucy is a sought after collaborator across an impressive range of global projects with leaders from the film, gaming and J-pop markets. Since 2011 Lucy has teamed with Japanese Pop producer HΛL, contributing new J-Pop and occasional K-Pop songs for a variety of established and up and coming artists. In 2016 Lucy composed the film score for the animated short Walk On Water, currently in development and being directed by Barry Cook (Mulan, Arthur Christmas, Walking With Dinosaurs). She has also collaborated with Australian Post Black Metal/Electronic band Germ, composing piano for the albums ‘Loss’ and ‘Grief’. In addition Lucy has embraced scoring for the increasingly significant video game industry, contributing music for Black Gull Studios as well as Creative Intelligence Arts in Japan. In 2019 she was awarded an honourable mention in Null-state’s international Chaosflote competition. Lucy graduated with First Class honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music Composition Major in 2010. She is based in Sydney and available for global commissions.
