Not so long ago, I was asked in which language I feel. The answer was clear: Papiamentu. Born and raised in Curaçao, a small Caribbean island, Papiamentu is one of the pillars of my identity. I write sing and produce music in this language, waving in my ambitions, anxieties, dreams and desires. I see my music as an extension of my soul, and my art as a reflection of deep emotion and nuance. Through my music I find my voice; by finding my voice, you can meet me at my fullest expression.
