As music directors we are in charge of guiding the musical components of a theatre production, as well as overseeing the performance of musical ensembles and ensuring smooth show transitions. We are in charge of leading and preparing musical ensembles for performances. We hold auditions, choose music, provide training, and guarantee that all instruments are maintained. We have worked with orchestras, choirs, or bands. We are also capable of working in radio and television. The concept of the production is evaluated, and the best music pieces are chosen. We do have extensive knowledge of the music industry, particularly in terms of training music groups to achieve the appropriate level of performance. As music directors must have good communication and organizational abilities, as well as the ability to work together with the entire production crew to create a fun and engaging output.
