Beirut born and bred, K.A.R.L is a songwriter and rapper who is constantly asking himself why it do be like that sometimes. Together with his close friend Marwayn, they started The Unplugged Poets as a musical project that blends Funk, Jazz and Hip-Hop, performing on all types of stages and venues from 2012 till 2015, during that period K.A.R.L would release a series of 1 track every Tuesday for a month in what would be called the T.U.P Tuesdays series on his Soundcloud. 
 In 2017, K.A.R.L released his first solo EP called Palma 5. A project in which he chronicles his experience living shortly in Madrid, Palma 5 took five instrumentals from the classic Poptartpete Palmas beat tape and flipped them using the same track titles while giving a new meaning to the tracks with K.A.R.L's lyrics. 
 In January 2021, K.A.R.L was featured on Chyno with a Why?'s major-label debut album Mamluk, performing one of the hottest verses on the album in the track "I'm Bored (feat. K.A.R.L)". 
 In August 2021 K.A.R.L released his debut LP WavesOnMars with producer and collaborator tallboytam, the project has been in the works since 2017 and has been widely anticipated by friends and family. It is what it is.
