in 2000 Sarajevo-based rock band AXA moved to the USA, where the band kept working, playing and recording. In 2008, AXA changed their name to INGRAY, when David Dupuie became band’s new drummer. They won several rock contests (including 2009 Hard Rock’s ‘Ambassadors of Rock’ title), recorded albums and performed over 1000 live shows in bars, clubs, theaters and large venues. At 2009 Detroit’s Music Awards, INGRAY was introduced as the upcoming new rock band of the year (with a large poster of them displayed in the main entrance hall of the show). INGRAY’s CD release party, at Detroit’s Hard Rock, was hosted by 101WRIF, the most popular Michigan rock radio station. As AXA, and later INGRAY, the band worked on many other projects including: soundtracks for 2 movies (with 2 indie festival awards), several TV commercials, music for the 2006 Chevy Autobots animation (that was approved by Steven Spielberg), the intro animation music for the 2007 Chevy Camaro website, SYNC by Microsoft online ads (for Ford) and more. AXA and INGRAY are often considered as being the same band, which is correct. The band had several lineup changes as well. The truth is that the band gained much more popularity in the US as INGRAY. Its music also became more mature and serious. More at a fan-made website about them: https://www.ingrayfans.com
