Redwood have been around since the early 90s, but it took the public a while to become aware of the band. The single "Apologize" (2006) was their first song to get quite a bit of airplay. The following year Redwood had themselves a veritable airplay hit with "Fat Chance", which got played in heavy rotation. The quintet managed to walk the fine line betwen chunky rock music and melodic pop, which earned them a Swiss Music Award ("Best Newcomer National") and a support slot for AC/DC. "Who We Are" off the "Of Butterflies And Hurricanes" album turned out to be another radio hit. Redwood stayed the course somewhere between alternative and mainstream radio and two songs from the follow-up "A 1000 Punches" found their way onto the radio stations' playlists ("One Trick Ponies" and "Oh Yeah?"). Summarizing five albums and one EP, Redwood put together their first best-of album "FAT CHANCE! Two Decades of Redwood" in 2013. Then things quietet down. However, in an air raid shelter below the streets of Zurich the band kept writing tirelessly, compiling a whopping 47 songs, out of which twelve were selected to be on their brand new album titled "Redwho..?". "Redwho..?" is coming out on September 14th 2018, distributed by TBA AG.<br>
