NINE99 is a Ghanaian alternative hip-hop artist; calls himself a "storyteller", and "orator", weaving tales real and incredible with a whiff of wittiness , priding himself of the flows he possesses and showcases in the performance of his lyrics, blending pidgin and other lingos - oftentimes from the Akan language, and its accompanying dialects. He often sees his music as a way to express himself on thoughts around almost every aspect of life as long as it interests him, but as a tool for change, he wishes more importantly that his listeners and fans use it to calm themselves down, have an independent perspective of life and believe that they too are heard and loved wherever they may be geographically and/or mentally located.
