Swedish-Canadian singer-songwriter Michael Saxell is one of Scandinavia's most recorded tunesmiths since the early 1990s. More than 450 of his songs have been recorded by other artists. Saxell has released several albums himself, since his Mercury Records debut 1981 "It's Good To Be Alive". His collaborators include Procol Harum's Keith Reid, BTO's Randy Bachman, Fredrik Andersson, Randy Goodrum, Christoffer Lundquist, Dickey Lee, Maurizio Fabrizio, Ingela "Pling" Forsman, Tim Krekel, Cris Moore, Peter Lundblad, Steve Porcaro, Peter McCann, Sam and Annie Tate etc. Michael Saxell is co-writer of iTunes Global Number One Song (May 2016) "If I Were Sorry" w artist Frans. Saxell has received numerous platinum and gold status awards.
