From the creative cul-de-sac of the Ojai Valley, Oliwa makes music for moving, dreaming, thinking and living. His original compositions infuse elements of deep house, dub, meditation soundscapes, acoustic and synthesized sounds, and global rhythms. He aspires to create music for open-hearted celebration and connection. He's collaborated as a bassist, string arranger, mixer or producer with various artists and ensembles such as Dawes, Jonathan Wilson, Jeffertitti's Nile, Elisa Rose, Equanimous, Julietta, Earthtones, He's My Brother She's My Sister, The Industrial Jazz Group, The Kona Symphony, Heartwurkz, Sheela Bringi, Radio Skies, Ted Lennon, and The Pleasure Circus.
