M$TRYO is a rapper, composer, DJ, host, designer, and a true-blue fashion rebel. A renaissance man through and through, M$TRYO has been one of Black Market’s fire starter for the legendary ‘Bad Decision Wednesdays’ since 2014 while also fostering a love for spoken word poetry, a skill in designing streetwear fashion, and a knack for new wave rap. Nudged into spitting original lines by the head of his former crew, M$TRYO started off rapping about the streets, the struggle, and the dynamic culture that comes with it. From the music of Kanye West, to the aesthetic of A$AP Rocky, and the poetry of XXXTENTACION - M$TRYO has taken cues from some of the greats. Today, this Manila-born-and-raised jack of all trades is making waves in the music and fashion scene, both locally and internationally. His vision as an artist is to get people to understand the evolution of music, embrace new sounds, and merge the different genres and art forms into a new narrative.
