Young Bird is a four piece alternative rock band based in Tampa, Florida. After forming in mid 2020 the group developed an intricate, diverse, and catchy sound by embracing their assorted range of influences rather than getting stuck in a box. From the math-infused guitar stabs of Polyphia, to the funk chops of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the Post-Hardcore fury of bands such as Circa Survive, anything goes. On songs such as “Pity Party” and "How To Move On" the group set out to showcase their ability to create cohesively and inviting music by channeling their kaleidoscopic background. Fans of indie rock, swancore, alt-pop, and post-hardcore are going to connect with the highly nuanced, mercurial sound of Young Bird’s music.
