MX World is the project of South London based musician Poppy Tibbetts. Her work combines traditional methods and styles of song writing with sampling, sound collage and audio-processing techniques to create atmospheric, experimental pop music, driven by a powerful vocal presence. MX World debut, self titled EP was released in November 2017 through South London based label Havana Tapes. Written and produced entirely by herself between her bedroom and a small make shift studio, the MX World EP is a highly personal and contemplative body of music that explores loneliness, embodiment, fantasy and anxiety.
