TOBAGO CAYS is the natural formation of a band by Alexandre, a 17-year-old teenager who has been passionate about music since he was a child, and his father Ludo, for whom playing music or singing are "vital needs". It's in their Parisian flat - where they have set up a home studio - that their common passion is concretized and their adventure has evolved from cover versions of famous hits, jam sessions with friends, to composition, in a collaborative creative process punctuated by tensions, laughs, but above all, when the alchemy of groove emerges...intense satisfaction. The confinement gave them the time they need to finalize their 1st opus "What We Want" and choose their artist name, TOBAGO CAYS : dream islands of the Grenadines visited during a cruise - which inspire them and embody their will to make sounds to escape. It was by chance that Alexandre and Diane, a teenage girl barely younger than him, met in the lobby of a movie theatre. Their musical understanding was there, so it was only natural that he asked her to sing What we want. Soul , Rhythm & Blues, Rock, Electro but also French songs or jazz are the main musical influences of TOBAGO CAYS at the beginning of a long musical journey made of encounters, vibrations and harmonies...
