Anica Simon , born in Trinidad & raised in Grenada on on a farm you learn how to listen and everything is music to me. I grew up in an entertaining atmosphere. If it wasn’t my Mom dancing our native dances or my Dad singing calypso. I was always in the middle of it all just soaking it all up. And coming to Vancouver in 1995 did not distract me from my journey. 
 Since then Anica Simon has performed with bands and toured with them for many years like Kokomo African Heritage, Maffie & Crew and Fire Band. Anica Simon is also a World champion in Brazillian Jiu-jítsu travelling the world competing and loves teaching her students.
