Kenja born as Gary Kelley is a man of music. He found himself writing at the age of 3 and making music by 6. Although his main form of expression is rap, he loves to experiment and just to have fun on all types of records. His background in hip-hop started at a young age listening to artist such as the Iconic @Lil Wayne, @Jay-Z, @Nas, @J.Cole, @Drake, @Logic, and @Kendrick Lamar all found through his older brother. Being bullied in school and not getting attention around the house made it hard growing up, especially being a kid from Harlem, NYC moving to the country in VA. Being alone most of his life, Kenja went through serious depression and anxiety. He makes music now for those that feel they don’t have a voice and for himself to look back on. Aside from music his major passions in life come from anime and video games. He often says to people, “I just wanna chill, make music, play games, and be a great man for my wife. I just want to be remembered as a great man in life.” Dreams2Reality is something he came up with to inspire others and keep himself inspired.
