In 2013 Krissy began work on a solo project under the name Yovth – her early work with American artist Young & Sick honed her sound, as they began making dark, left-field beats. Yovth’s few releases have to date accumulated millions of plays and received widespread critical acclaim. Yovth released two new records this month – Dayglo (feat. Youth) with Luvian on Ultra (US) and Tied with Kalyde on Defected sub-label Sense Traxx, which premiered with Annie Mac this week. Krissy solidified her sound with 2016’s About You EP – 4 tracks released via America’s Spin Magazine which oozed sensuality & exemplified her powerful, soulful vocal. Yovth have collaborated with a variety of producers — Hervé (Skint), Kilter (Ministry), Paces (etcetc), Atlas (Warp), Troy Gunner (Losing Suki) — soundtracked the #EpicSummer campaign for Asos & Mastercard, created content for Jagermeister & opened a fashion festival for Vogue Magazine in Dubai.
