Biography

Hot Chocolate Party was born purely out of childhood boredom. Put so lovingly in the song "831," frontman Michael Yanoska describes his hometown as "a land of opportunity, a place you can thrive / and have to fend for yourself when everything closes at 5:00.” Because of this, Michael then consumed his free time with music parodies and sketches, starring whichever of his friends were available that day. After meeting producer/audio extraordinaire Nick Agee working at a golf course together, the pair moved down to Los Angeles, where they teamed up with their comedic genius college buddies to do more music and sketch comedy, tackling the joys and heartbreak of Chipotle, the fickleness of Tinder, and more notably, the absurdity of various Nintendo products. The group is now onto their next project in the form of STEREOtypical, a musical comedy series in which they explore the different tropes and tendencies of their favorite bands through parody and impersonation. Stepping into the shoes of such bands as Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, and Foster the People, the Party aims to keep laughs coming and toes tapping.
