Holy Zeus Born and raised in St. Louis, MO by way of Atlanta, Holy Zeus (also known as Zeus the Bachelor) is a breath of fresh air to Hip Hop. Zeus got his start in hip hop with the underground group “700”, composed of his brother and his best friend, Gauge. Known for their energetic performances, the group became a sensation in the local scene, and eventually making it to radio. The group moved to Atlanta, GA in pursuit of their dreams, but the group disbanded. Standing alone for the first time in his career, Zeus had to go back to the drawing board to find his own sound and to redefine the mark he wanted to leave in the culture. What he found was a sound composed of Hip Hop, Lo Fi with a hint of trap. “First, there's the thoughts of a single, black, successful, attractive man and all the ups and downs that come with dealing with these CRAZY ASS WOMEN. Second his pulling from my past of being in the streets of St. Louis. Zeus the Bachelor has a multitude of musical influences. He delicately blends the wittiness of Jay Z and Lil Wayne, the storytelling of a Kendrick Lamar, the duplicity of 2 Pac, and the vulnerability of Drake, with Holy Zeus being the common thread that sews it all together. His has the unique ability to take you everywhere musically, yet his are cohesiveness and drives home a point.
