Jamila is a singer/songwriter who was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Her humbled beginnings began as a child with an interest in chorus and band. She started developing her songwriting style in middle school and it continued into Jamila’s adult life. With a strong foundation in RNB/Soul, she still keeps a unique and original sound. Since then, Jamila has worked on song demos that she mixed/mastered herself and released on SoundCloud throughout the years. Following that she released her long awaited single, “Wait for It," in 2018 on all streaming platforms. Now, she continues to work on music and is currently working on her debut EP.
