Lynx is on a mission to deliver the freshest and most innovative sounds in Drum & Bass. Known for being somewhat of a D&B maverick, he invents the rules, rather than follows them. Since emerging at the forefront of the scene in 2007, with several standout anthems released on Soul:r, and the seminal 'Disco Dodo' on Creative Source, Lynx has established a reputation for top quality productions, and DJ sets to match. Touring all over the world from the UK to Europe, America’s, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. In the words of Marcus Intalex, “attention to detail is his trademark”, which was made clear across his award-nominated debut LP with Kemo MC, ‘The Raw Truth.’ on Soul:r in 2009. At this time Lynx was hailed as the ‘saviour of Drum & Bass’ by Mixmag. He was also initiated into the infamous Soul:r family, writing and touring with the label and its legendary artists, Marcus Intalex, Calibre, and MC DRS. With releases on leading labels such as Hospital Records, Digital Soundboy, Ram Records, and his own imprint Detail Recordings. He’s also remixed tracks for Metalheadz, MTA, and Innerground to name a few. Following the huge success of his “I Am Lynx” album released on Hospital Records in 2015, Lynx has catapulted back this year at number 1 in the Beatport Dnb chart, and number 2 in all genres, with a double-track release on Souped Up. Also forthcoming releases in 2022 on Rene La Vice’s Device label, 31 Recordings and the relaunch of his own label Detail Recording.
