Born and raised in St. Louis, USA, artist JABBstract was born into a family that loved music. Growing up, JABB spent a lot of time with his grandpa who helped develop his ear for music as well as his jazzy approach. He spent much of his early years learning various instruments, piano, percussion, and saxophone, playing in his schools marching & jazz bands. However, it wasn’t until his 15th birthday, under the direction of his older brother, that JABBstract would put lyrics on wax. Since then, the St. Louis native has partnered with artists such as Jai Imani , Hesobumpin , @Lovebaker , and others forming their own independent label; Making All Creations Life. Since his first song, Double B continues to hone his craft as a vocalist, engineer, and instrumentalist, picking up producing in March 2020. JABBstract’s main goal is to create an entirely new sound of music.
