Aspiring Musician Taryn Posey; better known as SciryL (surreal) was born and raised on Chicago’s South side. Taryn was said to be an outgoing individual that was always willing to learn all things new and different. 
 Raised on nothing but the best of oldskool Hip Hop and RnB; she [at the age of thirteen] had Drawn a strong connection to the music and has held close to it since. It wasn’t long before Taryn dove head first into music and all of its hype—writing rhymes had became all she wanted to do. With idols such as Missy Elliot , Kanye West, Erykah Badu, and many more greats; she knew she had to give this some go. Soon performing for her siblings and classmates turned into doing open mics and whatever shows she could get her hands on. It had to be done. Not only did Music become her passion, but her way out. 
 “My Music creates my freedom. Freedom of Expression, Freedom of my doubts, freedom from the world, and the Freedom of self reflection. Music is my connection to self, and those around me. This is my canvas, as well as my calling, and I’m ready to answer.” 
 Ready, and grateful for the many musical talents that she has been blessed with; Taryn continues to build great works of art with no necessary validations, and encourages others to do the same.
