Norrisette is a grungy ethereal art-pop artist based in Manchester, UK. Her songs are about everything from heartbreak to climate change, with comedy and surrealism along the way. Norrisette started out as a composer, then a bedroom producer, and now finally has her own band. Since her first gig at Deaf Institute in 2021, she has performed sets at Bluedot, Sounds From the Other City, and Manchester International Festival, and has supported artists such as Anna Meredith, Ezekiel, ((( O ))) and HARU NEMURI. Together with Industries, Norrisette set up FLUFF, a regular night for queer electronic music artists in Manchester. FLUFF has been mentioned in The Guardian, and has received support from Factory International. One of Norrisette's self-produced tracks, Wild Being, was described by BBC 6 Music's Tom Robinson as an 'electronic noise fest'. Norrisette has recently started collaborating with Ashley Garrod on bass, Imogen Shortall on drums, and Jack March on guitar and production. She still composes music for others under her original name.
