Biography

Danny has been a DJ from the age of 15, playing US disco funk, jazz funk and soul and had a small sound system that he would play at parties in south east London. Danny’s break came in 1992 when he was asked to be resident at Release the Pressure (Cafe de Paris). Danny started producing soon after and in '94 when he teamed up with T-Smooth and became Underground Solution. They had a string of underground hits including 'Get Happy', 'Release The Pressure', and 'You're No Good' feat. Corrina Joseph, which peaked at No 1 in the KISS House chart. Both him and T-Smooth were pioneers of the early UK Garage movement. Danny has also had success as a songwriter with tracks such as Karess on 'Love (A Wonderful Thing)', 'Butterflies' feat. Vula, 'Tears' with Colour Girl, 'Magic' with Rogue and Kele Le Roc, 'Fool For You' feat Natalie Williams and many more. Danny has run his own label - Sound of Underground London since 1994 - and has released songs with the leading likes of Robbie Craig, Bizzi, Vula, and Kele Le Roc to name a few. And if that wasn't enough, he has also enjoyed exposure on many radio stations such as: London Underground 89.4, Upfront FM, Centreforce, Unknown FM, Millennium Dance, plus a few mix shows on the coveted KISS FM. Danny is constantly writing producing and remixing and the future looks promising with a 25 years of (S.O.U.L) album coming this year and lots of great collaborations. Danny definitely looks set be around for a while.
