G-Kross is a popular Nigerian Afro beats sensation. His official name is Orok Bassey Anyamurua Duke. He was born into the family of late chief and chief Mrs Bassey Anyamurua Duke. He is from Ifiang King Duke village in Akpabuyo local government area, Cross River state, Nigeria. He was born in Kaduna state but grew up in Calabar, Cross River State. His siblings are Mrs Esther Olumuyiwa, late barrister Asibong Duke, Mrs Inyang Odey, Mrs Roselyn Eyo, Dr Nene Asibong, Bassey Bassey Anyamurua and Duke Bassey Anyamurua. He also has a lovely daughter (Princess Asi Orok Duke). G-kross had his primary education and obtained his first school living certificate from Command children school, Akim barracks, Calabar. He had his junior secondary certificate from Federal government college Ikom, Cross River State. He spent a year at police secondary school Calabar but had his senior school certificate from Federal airport authority of Nigeria secondary school, Calabar. G-kross proceeded to obtain his BSc honours in International relations and strategic studies from Novena University, Ogume, Delta State.
