Biography

Rachel Bearinger is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her music draws from her roots recording piano improvisations and singing stories into a Sony tape recorder while growing up in rural Iowa. Blending elements of contemporary folk, classical, and jazz, she finds inspiration from the likes of Nick Drake, Regina Spektor, Brandi Carlile, and José González. In 2019, she released her debut full-length album, “Spirals”, the result of a fruitful collaboration with composer, producer, and percussionist Patrick Cunningham and many dear friends from her time at the University of Northern Iowa School of Music.
