Originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, Dwi Riana is a recording artist and composer living in Toronto. Their music combines indie folk influences with Indonesian elements to create a fresh and authentic style. Their debut EP "Jambu Tree", released in October 2022, recounts their experience as an Indonesian Immigrant trying to grow abroad while holding on to their roots. They also have a few singles out such as "Toronto 22", "World War X (ft. Julie Meunier)", and "Arga". Their writing is introspective, exploring the twists and turns of the soul as it tries to find its place in this world. They’re also a composer for short films such as “Rosa’s Flower’s” and “A Day Apart on the Seventeenth”. Riana is currently working on a new album and a few collaborative projects with other Toronto artists.
