Kgomotso Makiri AKA "Mari" is a South African musical entrepreneur/writer/producer/rapper, born and bred in the belly of Soweto, Moletsane. He majors deeply in the Hip Hop scene working closely with his colleagues and other childhood friends in mastering his craft of clear cut rap lines with top tier cadence and delivery, and also mixing it up with melodical bars to keep the ears tuned. From the beginning of his career in 2016 he has dabled into a lot of rap names and aliases from "Tonic" to "Trillboy" to "Skyboy", he explored a range of sounds and musical experiences, working with producers like "Cashboi", "LunaTheMaker", US-based "Lucaliptus", and "Baby Cheebow" in the process. Being under the radar and locked in were part of his his identity since COVID started, quietly planning (was then still using name Skyboy February). After his new uncalled for evolution into "Mari", he now has recently released a couple of his free archived songs in a 3-song EP (Demons To Fight - EP) & (Wars To Win - EP) meanwhile working on a Single release (WOK) rollout with Billyworldwide and a lot more coming from him individually.
