Hailing from Wentworth, Durban which is located in South Africa, Hulley hit the music scene in 2019 under the alias "Treyo", releasing the controversial single "10111" featuring "H" combining introspective lyrics and an incomparable style. He then collaborated with "H", "Machete", "O.M.C" as well as "Siksonik", to create the project known as "Crimes and nice times" which was released November 2019. The mixtape invites the listener into the lives of it's creators, giving an inside view of the good and bad sides of their homeland, hence the title. Hulley, who is independent, enjoys painting pictures of he's life experiences, putting he's audience in he's shoes with the purpose of expanding South Africa's rap scene. He is now working on he's second mixtape titled "Coloured vices", which is scheduled to be released on the 3rd of May 2024.
