Phase Duo is composed of Eloisa Manera (violinist, composer and improviser) and Stefano Greco (Producer, Dj and Sound designer). She comes from the classical music world and played, among others, with Herbie Hancock and Skunk Anansie. Stefano Greco is an electronic live musician exploring various musical influences as Fana (solo project) and the jazz core band Sonata Islands. They started playing together in 2015 thanks to Musicamorfosi: new versions of Steve Reich's Violin Phase and Ragas in minor Scale by Philip Glass and Ravi Shankar lead them to their first album S/T in 2019 (Aut Records) which followed a busy tour around Italy and abroad (Estate Sforzesca Milano, Ambria Jazz,Lac,Matiff Matera,Entroterre Bologna,Cervo Festival,Lecco jazz Festival,Classical Next Hannover and Portugal). They have since worked on several project including the music for Focus India (Lac Lugano - 2018), Universal Phase (Planetario Milano with astrophysicist Fabio Peri 2019) and fashion live shows for Dior and Replay!. In 2020 they explored a different repertoire for the show "Paradiso", mixing sacred compositions from the 17th century with electronic and ambient music. Last year they presented "Kraftwerk Recomposed" in trio with Daniela Savoldi on cello (Muse,Vasco Brondi, Cmon Tigre). Their album "Generative Glimpse" has been released out the 1st April 2022 on Chant Records (NYC). They will publish a new ep this autumn 2023 with the label Niafunken
