DX-Digital is a Synthwave/Retrowave/Post Boogie/Smooth Jazz artist from Austria, now living in Berlin. Trained in classical/jazz piano with a university degree, specializing in funk/fusion/jazz he started with electronic music as a ghost producer and made the transition to being an electronic artist by discovering the retrowave and synthwave genres. In 2018 he bought a DX-7 synth and started getting into FM-Synthesis as the base for future productions. Not much more than the good old DX-7, Ableton Live, a handful of plugins and a Boss Chorus Pedal, the first Ep's were in the works. The first one: Taking Off was released 2018 followed by Sax Trax (which featured some of the hottest funk players in town) in 2019 and Berlin Nights in 2020. New releases include featurettes with the incredible singer Manivi - who was featured on: Mind Game and All Night. In 2021 Pacific Ryder was released online and on vinyl/cassette/minidisc/CD featuring several tracks with the great saxophone players Omri Abramov and Vladimir Lebedev...Coming up is a more jazzed up album called Smooth Wave with a single up front dropping on the 1st July 2022 feat.
