Rashad McPherson is a performer, composer, & arranger living in NY, NY. Rashad studied music at Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) and graduated in 2009. While in Boston Rashad traveled throughout New England performing with his Gospel Music ensemble: DivinePURPOSE. Together, they released two Gospel music recording projects: “More Than I Ever Had” (2010) & “Better Things, Brighter Days” (2015). 
 Though Rashad took time away from his artistry to pursue master’s degrees, in 2018 he was re-introduced to New York City’s independent artist scene when he co-headlined a performance at Rockwood Music Hall (New York, NY). Since, he has also performed at Mercury Lounge, National Sawdust, The Schomburg Center, The Groove, Ginny’s Supper Club, and regularly hosts an open mic in Harlem, NY. 
 Though Rashad began his recording career as a Gospel Music recording artist, the music that he is preparing to release is socio-politically conscious and inspirational. Both singles from his highly-anticipated third album "Forward" are available now everywhere digital music is sold or streamed.
