A self proclaimed singer/songwriter producer, WSTD (Declan Denish) is an artist always working on self improvement and creative movements to his own music. Merging melodic elements fit together, whilst bringing emotional and introspective lyricism to extrovert a message to the listeners. Since 2020, Declan has found music is his one true creative outlet to distract the bad moments, hoping he can give the same feelings to whoever listens. Wstd released his first mixtape, Notebook NO.1, in June of 2021. This saw wstd experimenting with a different set of sounds and genres with such a short track-list. Even though this mixtape did well in where Declan was at with his music getting recognition, he felt it was not to the best of his ability. It's with this when Declan decided to depart from music for a short period to refurbish new ideas and let life guide him to whatever could spark his creativity. Then in March of 2023, Declan released his second mixtape, reverie, seeing him dive into more concept and a more well rounded overall sound to a project. Even when sounding rough around the edges, we can see Declan's lyricism and ideas for song structure start to improve, showing more potential to what Declan could do with production, instrumentation, lyrics, and etc. It is now that Declan as an artist wants to really take himself to other levels of creativity, while not trying to rush the process. its with this that we can expect more music to come from him soon in the future.
