Singer/songwriter/Producer Axel Uri is Driven by one thing; seeing the body of Christ fully surrendered to Jesus. Originally born in New York in a Dominican/American home, Axel was raised under the smell of Arroz con gandules, loud Spanish, and even louder worship music. Today Axel is based in Kissimmee Florida where he is a worship leader, youth pastor, speaker, and music producer. For Axel, he wrote lyrics and melodies as an expression of the heart for an audience of One. Though in pursuing his call to ministry, he realized God called him to broadcast his gifts and to let God use them for the Body of Christ. His musical influences include a wide variety of music from Worship by Bethel and Hillsong, blues/pop from John Mayer, merengue from Juan Luis Guerra, salsa from El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, and Romantic music from Robert Schumman, and all the way to Jazz from the likes of Clifford Brown and Max Roach.
