Alessandro Berghella is an Italian composer from Pescara, now based in Barcelona. A graduate in Contemporary Writing and Production from the Conservatory of Pescara, he’s known for his evocative compositions. In 2015, he scored the animated film Bangland, awarded the Premio SIAE at the 72nd Venice Film Festival. His debut album, Waves of Sand – The Inevitable Downfall (2020), features Catalan singer Gessamí Boada. His latest release, A Mirror, Melting (2024), is a solo-piano EP showcasing six original pieces performed by Berghella himself.
