Möonbabe is the side project of mama, mentor, DJ musician Heather Christie. She focuses on ritual deep house and indie pop genres, weaving medicine mantra like vocals with danceable EDM production. "This music is an expression of who I am as a woman, an artist, and a mother. Taking simple, almost childlike lyrical content and melodies and putting them over high-energy electronic music is the foundation of the concept. The idea of “ritual deep house” is that its beats, percussion, instrumental hooks, and melodic layers that can get you in a trance and made with a prayerful purpose."
