8-CIRCUIT NEURORGASMIC TRIGGER is the debut LP under the surname of multi-disciplinary L.A. artist Chad Fjerstad. The electronica record, which was partially composed on the island of Bali, is a digital excursion primarily inspired by some of the finest stalwarts of the UK 90's (LFO, Orbital, etc) while also pulling influence from a full timeline of techno, electro, and Japanese synth music such as YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA and 16-bit video game soundtracks. Qrewcial Media named the LP one of "10 great albums you may have missed" in 2019, stating "Chad Fjerstad’s debut full-length is 50 minutes of high-octane, gleefully misanthropic IDM. His hothouse-slasher, kitchen-sink approach to composition makes for an overwhelming and dizzying—but always entertaining—sonic experience. It’s a vicious electronic head-trip rife with rough textures, grim erotica, belching machinery and a truly warped sense of humor. You’ll find yourself having a killer time even as the carnage unfolds before you." Fjerstad has been known as the bassist of several heavy guitar-driven touring acts such as Dead To Fall, The Primals, and VR SEX but is growing equally notable in correlation with synthesizer music through his celebrated minimal wave project More Ephemerol, his original soundtrack for the 2022 feature film Dark Cloud (Original Motion Picture Score), and his growing electronic discography. Fjerstad also runs the boutique record label Ephemerol Night Terrors.
