Koena Cyfred Seimela- Popularly known as Cyfred - is a 22 year old house music artist, producer and Dj A native of Polokwane. Cyfred channelled his artistic expression through dance before he was drawn to music which he started creating after high school. Subsequently pursuing a qualification in marketing he maintained attention to his core passion, garnering over 500 000 streams after releasing his debut single “Woza”. A combination of his innate rhythm, talent and passion pointed to a potentially viable music career when his debut EP Alostro dropped to wide acclaim.Taken off his sophomore project Chapter 1 , 'Snake Park' currently sits over 1000 000 YouTube plays, with the official video having received upward of 600 000 views. Nicknamed the Alostro Effect by adoring fans, the track captures the allure of Cyfred’s iteration of amapiano in its mixture of infectious lyricism, visceral production and up-tempo grooves.
