Written at a kitchen table in his family home in Western Sydney Moody sings, plays trumpet, writes beats and everything in between on his fourth release 'Traveling Ghost'. Born in Zimbabwe and orphaned at a young age Moody’s story looked destined to follow the typical path for many young people growing up in housing commission. It was when he got his first start on the trumpet as an 11-year-old in school band that he unlocked a path that would change the course of his life. Since then he has toured festivals and stages across Australia, Europe and Africa with his band @truevibenation, gaining a reputation for their invigorating music and energetic live show and attaining over 3M streams across their discography. Now Moody presents a more intimate look into him as a person with a soulful, bluesy and heartfelt sound that pays homage to artists like Curtis Mayfield, Leon Bridges and Emma Donovan and the Putbacks. Moody has quickly built momentum and a dedicated following since his first solo release ‘Happily Drowning’ , which was added to rotation on FBI Radio and streamed over 250,000 times.
