After a separate personal & musical split in quick succession, Von Marlon's alias was formed as a solo project after living abroad. 
Inspired by the music around him, his sound distinctly offers a mix of Trip-Hop, Ambient, & Dance inspired alternative pop songs. ‘Journeys’ was birthed for and on the road, taking joy in the excitement of new places and experiences when travelling alone or together. Written in Berlin & London, the EP was inspired by being in between.

 Garnering attention with his two singles, ‘Searching’ and ‘Tripping’ on independent radio stations such as Absolute Radio and Amazing radio, Von Marlon was then featured in The Unsigned Guide’s June ’19 Spotlight, before joining Max Music Publishing.

 From this, ‘Closer’ was synced on an episode of Queen Sugar, the US TV show broadcasted on Oprah Winfrey’s network OWN, whilst also being listed in Ditto’s ‘Chartbreaker’ Spotify playlist. The single ‘Nordhafen’ was blogged in Found.fyi’s ‘Discovering: Best of 2019’ around the same time. The two latest singles 'Together Forever' and 'Save It' received press from Stereofox, Kaltblut and Riptide Mag amongst others. Stay tuned for a new EP in 2022.
