Mary Grace Knapp is a songwriter north of New Orleans who has had several songs featured on local radio, television, and in Mardi Gras events. Her Saints song "Come Hell Or High Water", co-written with Chip Hardy of Nashville, covered by Ricky Windhorst of Four Unplugged , chosen for social media and marketing by The New Orleans Saints. Her song "Dance Like No One's Looking" was selected for use for a cancer survivors benefit in local New Orleans event "You Night". She has further written several songs with Grammy nominated and Emmy winning Greg Barnhill- writer of "Walkaway Joe"~ including featured songs "Miss Those Days" and "Dark Side of the Sun. Her Mardi Gras song- "This Parade is Gonna Roll" is sure to be part of Mardi Gras history, having been recently been recorded as with the vocals and trumpet covered by vocalist and musician. The Foundation also has an educational component including an instrument gifting program, (OMG) ~designed for aspiring songwriters and deserving youth, and has placed scores of guitars in the hands of local students since its inception.
