Biography

One of the more innovative producers to rise from the depths of SoundCloud, DJ, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Nedarb has remained a pioneer of experimental hip-hop. With his genre-bending production and unmatched versatility, Nedarb has become well known for his work with the “emo-rap” collective GothBoiClique, as well as his collaborations with Ghostemane, Xavier Wulf, Black Kray, and various others. Originally from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, Nedarb moved to the United States when he was 10-years-old. Equally fascinated with the emo outfit Silverstein as he was by rapper Lil B, Nedarb’s influences are proudly displayed within his instrumentals. Having taught himself guitar, bass, and drums, Nedarb played in various bands before he began producing in early 2014. That same year, Black Kray used one of Nedarb’s beats for the track “WHY MAH SOULJUHS CRY.” Soonafter, Nedarb became a member of the collective Thraxxhouse, where he became connected with various members of GothBoiClique. Nedarb began a close working relationship with the group, having solely produced Lil Peep and Lil Tracy’s 2016 “Castles” EP, as well as garnering placements on Lil Peep’s “Crybaby” and “Hellboy” tapes. In 2018 Nedarb joined the emo-supergroup Misery Club, and a year later he released his own album “Amity,” which features Alice Glass, Wicca Phase, Brennan Savage, and many others. Nedarb also began working closely with rising rapper Hook, having produced her debut album “Bully.” — Jack Angell
