Esther Collective was created by Hedvig and Isak Rizell with the vision to make music for a time like this. They are chasing the sweet spot of good lyrics and a present Swedish pop sound. After many years in Stockholm, the couple is now based in Åre, in northern Sweden, where they are making more time to produce music. Hedvig started her musical journey with Hedvig & Selma and later became a worship leader featured on songs such as Mer lik dig (lär mig) by Pingst. Isak started his music journey in a metal band, then went to Berklee college of music and is currently writing worship songs, for example Vi behöver dig by Pingst and Var min stolthet by Erik Valier. Recent collaborations includes cowriting the song Stå upp for the festival Unite together with Pingst and Levi Stark from Pionjär and releasing Follow You (Comfort Zone) together with Ella Ward from Life Church Bradford. Having won his price, Esther Collective and Roland Utbult released a new version of Roland’s Den första kärleken in 2024. In November, 2022, Hedvig & Isak was rewarded with Utbultsstipendiet 2022 by Roland Utbult.
