London born rapper 00.Z puts a typically British spin on American Club influenced beats. Originally from Islington, the independent artist grew up listening to a lot of grime music, which is demonstrated through his comedic bars and a focus on flows when writing his tracks. 00.Z takes inspiration from most genres but particularly looks to MCs JME and Mercston, as well as US rappers Joey Bada$$ and Ski Mask The Slump God when developing his sound. 2020 has seen a succession of strong single releases for 00.Z, including the big-hitter NASTY that quickly racked up over 1000 streams on Spotify. With a debut mixtape currently in production, 00.Z’s unique style is definitely one to watch out for.
