CINØ is no stranger to adversity. An ambitious producer from a young age, he began creating beats in his hometown of Ottawa, Canada at age 13. Two decades later, he has become a powerhouse phenom across the Hip-Hop, R&B, EDM, House, Pop, Afro beat, and Reggaeton genres – but it wasn’t an easy ride to get there. The harsh reality of the industry marked the beginning of years of self-discovery and arduous learning curves as CINØ worked tirelessly to prove his production chops to the rest of the world. After “many battles with thoughts of quitting,” he chose to attend audio recording school at T.A.R.A (The Audio Recording Academy). He graduated from the program in 2017 and continued honing his skills across a diverse set of genres and moods. In 2019, CINØ returned to Toronto once again to face his own past from the Battle of the Beat Makers 2015 competition. Armed with years of practice and personal growth forged through the fires of hardship, he wanted to prove too himself as much as to his contemporaries that he had earned his place in the production world. A world away from his younger self in 2015, CINØ became a top-two finalist in 2019. As strongly as CINØ has fought to earn his skills and his acclaim as a producer, he fights just as hard to continue perfecting his sound and releasing tracks that move both the body and the soul.
