Norwegian singer / songwriter Uzia crafts R&B, and club influenced pop music influenced by artists like Emeli Sande, Jessie J, and Sia. With roots from Congo, born in Tanzania, the 22 year old artist grew up in the town of Drammen in Norway. She started singing in church at a young age, and performed at Norwegian national television at the age of 14. She gained attention from Bebe Rexha in 2020 after uploading a cover of Rexa’s «I’m A Mess» recorded in her bedroom. Where Rexha complimented Uzia for her talent and vocal abilities in the popular online magazine Glamour. She became artist of the month may 2022 on Norway's largest Pop Music Radio station NRK P3.
